We are especially committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our products.

Voluntary Feedback & Research Participation: Surveys, beta signups, pilot study data, or support messages.

In-App Information:

On Device: Optional usernames or nicknames for local profiles; test results for each profile.

Anonymous Identifiers: Random IDs that allow us to track usage or learning progress over time without collecting personal identifiers.

Optional Demographics: Broad age ranges, age, or grade bands to help us understand performance trends.

Usage & Performance Data: Game progress, scores, motion interactions, or similar activity data.

Technical Information: Device type, OS version, or crash reports to improve performance.

We do not collect precise location data, advertising IDs, or personal identifiers from children.

We use the information we collect to:

Provide app features such as showing progress over time.

Improve our games and services based on usage patterns.

Send newsletters, early access invitations, pilot study updates, or product announcements (to adults only).

Support teachers, parents, and guardians with aggregate reports and learning insights.

Conduct internal research and pilot studies to ensure our games are safe, fun, and effective.

We do not use data for advertising or tracking outside our services.

3. Children’s Privacy & COPPA Compliance

Swayday creates products designed for children, but we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and related app store policies.

• We do not knowingly collect personal contact information (such as full names, emails, or addresses) from children under 13 without verified parental consent.
• Gameplay data tied to anonymous IDs may be collected to evaluate progress and improve our services.
• Any results we share publicly are in aggregate form only and cannot      identify individual children.
• Parents or guardians may review or request deletion of their child’s data at any      time.

If you believe we’ve collected data inappropriately, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

4. Use of Third-Party Services

We may use trusted service providers (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, email platforms) to help deliver features and improve our services. These providers are contractually required to keep information secure and confidential.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Your Choices & Rights

You can update preferences or unsubscribe at any time by:

Parents may also request deletion of gameplay data or other submitted information.

6. Data Retention

• On Device: Usernames and test results remain until deleted by the user,      parent, or by uninstalling the app.
• Server-Side Data: Anonymous identifiers, age ranges, and performance data are retained only as long as needed for research, reporting, or product improvement.
• Contact information provided by adults is retained only as long as necessary for      communication and support.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect information. Access to personal or contact data is limited to authorized team members and service providers.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on our website and, if appropriate, shared by email.
